Tamas Rakay (Hungary)

 

 

From 2010 to 2013 he studied at the University of Kaposvár, Hungary. Faculty of Arts, bachelor, direction "Production Designer". Workshop: Agnesh Dharmati, Zsuzsa Molnar, Robert Menzel, György Shelmetzi.

In 2015 he received his master's degree in the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, the department of scenography, the direction "Set and costume designer". Workshop: Edith Zeke, György Chick.

For two years after graduation Tamash managed to prove himself as a talented artist not only in his native Hungary, but also in other European theaters.

So, on the stage of the Oradea State Theater, Romania, as an artist in costumes and decorations, he participated in two productions: "Leander and Lensener" A. Siladi. (Director - Tunde Toth, 2015) and "The Bar and Goal Into His Gates" by P. Kormyotsi-Krivan (Director Peter Tashnaldi-Shahi, 2017), and also created scenery for the play "Aunt Mali" M. Fusht (Director Gábor Koltai, 2016).

2016 - Debrecen, Nagyerdei Open Air Theatre. Levente Sorini, Janos Brodi, Imre Sharkodi, Chaba Ivanka. Rock-opera "Mason Kelemen" - Set Designer.

2016 - Tatabánya, Jászai Mari TheatreThe author and director Kiss Csaba  "Days and Nights" - Costume Designer.

2017 - Budapest, Imre Kalman Theatre. Imre Kalman "The Girl from the Riviera". Directed by KERO. - Costume and Set Designer.

2017 - Szentendre, Main Square. G. Rossini "The Barber of Seville". Directed by KERO. - Costume Designer.

2017 - Miskolc, National Theatre. Matyashshi Szabolcs "Scaevola". Directed by Andrash Almashi-Toth. - Set Designer in collaboration with Zita Shafronek.
